Mario Cuomo for VP
I saw him the Daily show. He is such an effective speaker at making a clear and Clean point. Very Statesman like.

Why have we heard nothing about him as a possible veep for Kerry.

from a state we're already guaranteed next door to Kerry's home state.

Also 72 years old-a little long in the teeth.

2. He was frequently suggested for President
ten-fifteen years ago. I doubt he'd want to run for anything at this point, though. He's an elder statesman.

3. He was brilliant on TDS

Jon seemed too impressed and awed to even try to make jokes. It is a rare person that Jon respects enough not to joke with them.

4. His channeling of Kerry...
...was...well, more convincing than Kerry ;)

Even though that particular tact has its weak points for me (I voted for it, I was misled), the delivery was simple and umpph. Yeah, he won't be the VP pick, but I liked alot of what he had to say (especially about the stupidity of labels, and how they contribute to the dumbassification of America)...

5. He Would Make a Great Cabinet Member
I'm thinking Health & Human Services, from his years as governor of New York.

6. Mario

Mario Cuomo was and is an amazing speaker. I could listen to him for hours. I've often wondered if he has a big skeleton in his closest or someone in his family because he was such a perfect Presidential candidate many years ago. There has to be some reason he decided not to run. I guess it could be the "toll on my family" reason.

Can you imagine having someone that gifted at speech and governing actually being our President?
