Capitol Hill Blue: * FIRED Tenet on Wednesday...
this is one crazy article about the president in full melt-down but check this snip:

"Tenet wanted to quit last year but the President got his back up and wouldn't hear of it," says an aide. "That would have been the opportune time to make a change, not in the middle of an election campaign but when the director challenged the President during the meeting Wednesday, the President cut him off by saying 'that's it George. I cannot abide disloyalty. I want your resignation and I want it now."

Tenet was allowed to resign "voluntarily" and Bush informed his shocked staff of the decision Thursday morning. One aide says the President actually described the decision as "God's will."

11. Uh, maybe because he didn't want the entire administration
to make him the scapegoat for everything bad that has happened. He was already suspect as a Clinton holdover.

5. That Explains A Lot
Any action is justifiable because it's God's will.

Someone take him to church and leave him on the altar...preferably an Aztec altar.

10. Georgie doesn't have both oars in the water
The cheeze has slid off the cracker. He is only hitting on seven cylinders AND...he's got the nuclear 'football'.

I don't think it will wait until Jan next year to show him the door. I want him out yesterday.

17. I don't generally abide Bush=Hitler comparisons...
But I do have this funny mental image of GWB sweating and raving about "treasonous generals" stalking the White House situation room clutching a Michelin map of Europe.
:)
Now tart Cheney up in Herman Goering's opulent Reichsmarshal uniform to really start the giggles!

If Bush is really going nuts and I don't discount the possibility...(how many other scions with drug and alcohol issues infest the mental health resorts of the nation? Quite a lot really)...then it's self induced dementia this stupid war was his his damn idea.
Maybe he'll threaten to nuke the USA if we don't proclaim him King George the Worst or something...its the sort of childish tantrum I'd expect from a Bush family member.
