Begala on Unfiltered, gushing over Raygun (took responsibility for
Lebanon according to begala). Interesting how he never pronounces Clinton's name. This guy is so gone away from us! "the majesty of the "Big R" -

1. Ive seen him say that but......
he was contrasting him with Bush who blames his actions on others constantly and he does have a point. As Much as I disliked reagan at least he had some semblence of humanity.

2. Jeez.. do you realize what you just typed?
Back in 1988 did you ever think you would even think such a thing?? But, you are correct. Reagan did have some semblence of being human as did Nixxon compared to Bush.

But just think about what this means in the context of 1988 and/or 1974 if you were around then. Personally these thoughts were absolutely inconceivable then.

3. I wrote Unfiltered. They passed the story to Gary Hart: "I don't think so"
he said. I remember him saying he knew nothing about Iran Contra - when he was the one signing the authorization. I know because it was me drafting the bill requiring the POTUS to authorize undercover operations"
I wrote Unfiltered a Thank you note. Begala is so gone!

4. The worst case of Clintonitis I've ever seen
He thinks that if you appease the right, they'll be reasonable. Show them pictures of you and your brother with the dead dear they just sport-killed, and they'll think you're a regular guy. Repeatedly say what a fine fellow Junior is, and they'll come around to your way of thinking.

He's a loudmouth and he likes to make fun of people's physical features; in many ways, he's still on the recess playground.

Lest we forget, he derisively and authoritatively dismissed Hitler and McVeigh as Atheists (using it as an insult) when they were both Roman Catholics, just like he is. He also interviewed a PETA spokesman (via link up) while eating Kentucky Fried Chicken and having an intern pass out pieces from a bucket to the studio audience.

Yes, he hammers the fascists, and often does it well, but he's a lout.

What I mean by Clintonitis is simply the appeasing of the right, thinking that they'll call off the dogs. Clinton would never do the hunting, atheist-smearing, and certainly not the vulgar insensitivity to someone's beliefs like he did to the PETA guy.
