"United we stand - Divided we fall"
A caller to C-SPAN just said that Bush was a "uniter" - the best since LBJ (was he being facetious?). But shouldn't that be the slogan for the Bush campaign? He said he was a "uniter" and he has done a wonderful job at "uniting" our country. How could anyone deny that? It's those "dividers" that keep us from being united. If everyone would just support our Esteemed Leader and our troops, then our country would be a whole lot better off. Don't you agree? :)

2. You gotta admit
* has united the GOP (this may be changing) and polorized the rest of us. To be sucessful he needs to keep the GOP together and divide us into bite sized pieces. This is a powerful strategy - divide and conqueor. Democrats and all liberals need to fuse together into a solid front to this despot. But here at DU and other places people continue to shoot themselves in the foot. The freepers manipulate our thinking and get us wasting our precious energy fighting amounst ourselves over stupid inconsequential things while they take the prize. If this happens again then stupid is as stupid does - we get the president we deserve.

I don't care if you vote for Kerry as a vote against * or you vote for Kerry because you like him - just vote for Kerry and do what you can to get others to vote for him. Then we can let * call himself the great uniter - he united the world and the country against him - that's sweet.

4. We haven't been united since the 90s.
We have a score to settle. But we'll do it legally, and by the book.

5. Actually Bush has united us
"Us" being the Democrats. After 9/11 Bush had a golden opportunity to make the Republican Party the dominant party for years to come. All he had to do was lead in a quiet, confident, non-partisan way, focusing on capturing Bin Laden, controlling the Taliban, and rebuilding Afghanistan. The American people, Democrats and Republicans needed, and wanted that kind of leadership, but instead Bush chose to push the vicious, inept neo-con platform and shoveled crap on the Democrats in Congress.

After taking it on the chin for a few years, we Democrats finally got PISSED big time and we are now gaining strength daily. It may take a few more years, but the newly invigorated, united Democratic Party will someday succeed in showing the country that the current GOP leadership is actually fascist flatulence.

Thanks, George, you blew it BIG-TIME. Future historians will rate you as the dumbest and most dangerous President ever.
