La Guardia didn't find a knife in my bag last month
I accidentally had a pocket knife in my luggage from a previous trip that I had taken years ago when I went camping.
It was a smaller bag with tons of pockets and I carried it on to the flight and put the bag under my seat.
When I got to my destination my friend that was helping me unpack found the knife and asked me how I had gotten this past the security check at La Guardia Airport.
They are not doing their job and we still need to be aware of this.
I phoned the airport and airlines and let them know that I got a knife past security by accident and I told them to talk to the baggage checkers about this because I didn't appreciate them not finding it in my bag.
BTW Both Air Marshall's on the plane talked about their job schedule during the flight and one on sitting in the front and the other one was in the back. They were yelling back and fourth during the flight and it was awkward. They both had guns on their side which also made them very obvious.
Are Air Marshall's suppose to let people know who they are?
4. Policeman were also checking ladies purses before graduation ceremonies.
I attended two graduation ceremonies over the weekend and both time I had a knife in my purse. (I sometimes forget it's in there). When they did check my purse, they didn't stand there and check every compartment. I even went thru the metal detector. They didn't spot it.
LaGuardia is the same airport that allowed myself and 30 other passengers board a flight without checking anyone's tickets or ID, just two weeks before 9-11. They said they were in a hurry to turn the plane around and that since there was so few passengers on the flight to just get on the plane.
This was the US Air flight attendents and gate crew who let us on. Since I only had one piece of carry on with me, all I had to do was put my stuff on the belt and get scanned, but at no point was my ticket, boarding pass or ID checked.
The guards were just DUMB, if nothing else but to have their weapons where everybody can see them. The terrorists have been shown as being vigilant and prepared too...
When the two dumbbells yelled at each other, did they say what type of work they did - or was it just the big guns that suggested they were the air marshalls?
>Are Air Marshall's suppose to let people know who they are?
I suppose it's probably not entirely a bad idea to let everyone know that there are air marshalls on the plane. I suppose it might make anyone think twice about starting some shit, though it is rather unusual.
