Yes, of course
He's so obviously guilty, it's easy to be impartial!

2. Aren't the accused supposed to be tried by a jury of their peers?
Where will we find enough torturing dictators, crooked CEOs, incompetent managers and willfull liars to sit in judgement?

3. When one has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar time after
time, it's really impossible to suspend your belief that particular someone is not a cookie thief. And if he tells you he's not trying to steal a cookie, that means that he's also a liar.

5. I believe in the presumption of innocence. prosecution must make the case,
not the jury.

(It's a constitutional question for me. I voted for the suspend bias choice.)

I'm sure I'm way too serious about this poll, but presumption of innocence is one of "those things" with me.

Thanks.

10. Of course I could suspend any bias

or preconceived notions. And I don't read the papers or watch TV, and I'm not familiar with the facts of the case. I'm not connected to any political party, and I favor the death penalty. Bush who?

 :kick: :nuke:

13. Is he in charge of anything, or is he a dummy they push in front
..of the cameras? What is his function, really?

These are questions that are central to this bunch, and I think we're all undecided on the answers. We know he's stupid, but is he stupid enough to be completely out of the loop? We know he's a psychopath, but is he smart enough to be in the loop?

When you put it like this, I think we could all be unbiased jurors. After all, we really don't know the answers.

14. OOO! OOO! Pick me! Pick me!
:hi: Please? Please? I'm the most impartial person I know! Really! I promise I'll sit very quietly in the jury box, sift through the evidence, come to a fair and impartial decision...

...and only then will I vote to send the evil sumbitch to Gitmo for the rest of his miserable life.

(I guess that would be considered a "no," wouldn't it...)
