If we could have Iowa and New Hampshire back
How many of us would vote for Kerry? Is he the best person to beat Bush, or would Dean or someone else have been a better person to get the message out?

1. It's pointless to think about that
What's done is done. I didn't support Kerry during the primaries (I supported Wes Clark) but Kerry is our nominee, and any fantasy of redoing that is unrealistic.

4. I agree
What's done is done. I was a Clark supporter also. I just find it hard to swallow that a place like IOWA can have such a huge impact on the entire planet.

7. So whats wrong with IOWA?
We who live here like it. Its a fine place to raise a family and people here are good honest hard working folks. Just because a majority of Democrats here voted for Kerry in the caucuses, which are not primaries, doesn't mean that it automatically cinched the nomination for Kerry. He had to go out and win other primaries. Iowa, land between two rivers. And we did vote Gore in 2000.

2. It wouldn't matter....
Dean would have been dubbed as cerifiably insane and any of the others wwould have been torn down by the Repub Noise Machine. Not even productive to discuss such an hypothesis....

5. Dean
Dean was a man of passion and said it like it was. Who ever called him a flip flopper??

The republicans might have called Dean insane, but they had a hard time arguing his points regarding the war, gay marriage, and the ecomomy.

I think Dean or Wes Clark should join Kerry as VP.

6. Gee, another attempt to stir up division between the Democrats.

And on your FIRST thread, too.....but, I'm not surprised given your previous remarks against Kennedy and Gore.
