3. Sure he will
Irony is not dead.

See, their rape is so much worse than our rape. The Iraqis don't really mind so much because the love us for our freedoms. Anyone who thinks Iraqi rape is worse than our rape hates us for our freedoms.

I think I could seriously be a speech writer for the Chimp.

11. That was a good one.
And, lest we forget that the Iraqis in US custody were raped in a newly rehabbed Abu Ghraib. The sunny yellow paint sure beats that awful shade of gray that used to dawn the walls their.

7. I think you'd make an excellent speech writer for chimpy.
Edited on Sun May-30-04 11:50 AM by mzmolly
Just remember no more than two syllables per word! Oh, and no mention of "Abu Ghraib." He has a tough time with that word. ;) Waiiiit, I forgot "three syllables" in "Abu Ghraib" ~ Ah-boo-grabe ... Shame on me.

13. I think the Chimp
prnounced it "Aboo Garoom" during his speech. Probably got it confused with some planet in the Star Wars series. It's probably pretty hard for him not to confuse the two.

18. Ahh, "Aboo Garoom" .... fortunately for the chimp, most of his supporters
Edited on Sun May-30-04 05:26 PM by mzmolly
wont know the difference.

My guess is next week, Limbaugh will be pronouncing it in the same manner, "Abo Garoom" ... later, declairing the liberal media is in fact "wrong" in it's pronunciation?

Dare we "unpatriotic scum bags" question the commander and chief!?

5. He used the term during the "Great Canadian Bus Tour"
As he was winging across Ohio in his Canadian Bus, the Abu Ghraib Torture Scandal was starting to bust wide open.

That didn't stop Chimpy from reassuring the gushing gawkers at his campaign stops that thanks to him, Iraqis would never have to endure torture or rape again.

It amazed me that Rove and Bartlett didn't take a red marker to that lousy stump speech.

8. He'll certainly try
He knows the party faithful have memories that extend only as far back as the last Lamebawl broadcast, and that he'll have a chance of getting away with it.

Of course, only about 30% of us are that stupid. It will probably backfire elsewhere.

12. He uses this term constantly
To this day, he, and his flying monkeys, cite the elimination of "rape rooms" as one of their achievements in Iraq. He leaves off the bit about them opening under new management.

A lot of us call him on this bullshit -- including Al Gore in his speech of last week.

However, this bullshit is not directed at We the Critical Thinkers -- it is directed at the credulous non-thinkers in our nation.

Bush is a GREAT poker player. This is yet another bluff. His strategy all along has been to loudly denounce in public what he himself is carrying out. It's a great psychological tool -- non-thinkers process it as "Well, if he's condemning that stuff, he must not be doing it himself." Ooops -- he has been all along, folks. It's also a psychological mechanism to keep people off balance all the time, allowing him wiggle room to more on to his next atrocity, carrying it out as the dust settles on the previous one.

Part of my analysis of the Bush adminstration is to read them as propagandists; between the lines they reveal all -- you will find that what they most loudly malign is precisely what they themselves are up to.

Isn't it remarkable that Al Gore should be vilified as a "serial liar" in the 2000 Campaign, to make way for the most prolifically mendacious adminstration in our history?
