5. Not much

It's really a joke. I saw so much Holy Joe bashing before I registered I figured this handle would get some attention.

7. You Better Have Flame Retardant Underwear
I feel sorry for Joe. He should get out of the race now and preserve any dignity he has left.

2. Lieberman, you're a disgrace.
Please resign. You represent the Bush cartel now.

4. Edwards will win
Lieberman will be a distant third (or possibly fourth)

Edwards will win. The amount he wins by will determine whether he can win the nomination. Coming in second will be the winner of New Hampshire or Dick Gephardt. Depending on the momentum of those two, both of them could beat Lieberman, who will be considered an afterthought at that point.

6. Wow, nobody has posted on #3 yet
Rightly so it's all about Iowa and NH but SC is the first southern test. If Sharpton is still in he's after the black vote which means that the conservatives will likely go with holy Joe. This means that the Rev Al has to be made a player and to drop out by then. Maybe he can't but McAuliffe should try to see if a convention speech would be good trade. Or does he want Joe as a good DLCer to win? This could get whackier if Bob Jones invites Sharpton just to really muck this up.

8. South Carolina is still up in the air.
Lieberman is sinking like a rock; I don't expect him to win despite his 4% lead over Edwards.

Edwards should win, given this is his backyard. But I wouldn't count Kerry, Dean, or Gephardt out yet.

13. he is ahead, but falling to Edwards
Edited on Wed Aug-13-03 12:13 AM by Bombtrack
he's ahead because he's concentrating on it and his name recognition

but Edwards will soon elcipse him

the reason Leiberman is doing better, up until now, in the Feb 3 primaries, is because the dems in those states probably want a candidate who will be competative in those states, and not someone who would just sceed the south to Bush(like Kerry and Dean)

I don't like most of Leibermans politics, and it's clear he won't win the primary, but he would be atleast MORE competative than Dean and Kerry in places like SC, and thats part of the reason he has had good polling there
