For November, Let Us Pray For You-Know-Who
Inside the presidential prayer team
By NATHAN THORNBURGH

Monday, May. 24, 2004
The radio ad's announcer reads a list of famous Americans who gave their lives to Christ — from founding father John Jay to former Harlem Globetrotter Meadowlark Lemon — as fifes trill and drums roll in the background. "You too can be an American inspiration," the narrator concludes, "by joining the Presidential Prayer Team!"

The ad, running on 1,165 radio stations around the country, doesn't mention President Bush. But it comes from a group that could play a major role in rallying the President's Christian conservative base to vote in this year's election. ...

<snip>

"We're really just calling for God's will to be done in this election," says spokeswoman Meagan Gillan. "We want people to vote their values." With an annual budget of $1.5 million, the Prayer Team says it will continue past November, even if God's plan includes a President John Kerry. "If that's the case," says Gillan, "we'll just have to pray even harder."

1. There are lots of us that hope God will hear us this time .
and send Georgie back to Crawford and then to hell.

Amazing how these moral people pray a man that doesn't think twice about killing thousands of people based on lies. That's morality????

2. "pray even harder" translates to "justify our hatred" in our pea brains.
The hypocritical twits.
When a republican is in, "God commands we pray and support our leaders", which, when a dem is in, God changes his eteranl unghanging Word to say "Forget that shit...Hate your leader. Make false videos full of lies and distribute! Bear false witness! Go forth!"

4. Actually "pray even harder" translates into Bush Good vs
Kerry Evil. Further translation is that Bush=life is good; Kerry=worry about life.

8. OMG, reduced to hope, wish, and prayers. The Odds ?? Whats the Odds?
The Bushitas are reduced to prayer, his record sucks, his plans all in tatters, and his message sucking, resulting in poor showing.

Now, all thats left is prayers? If his record was so good, he wouldn't need prayers, he would be a shoo in. But the fact is, his track record is a losing one.

Come, we go see the Kahuna, get Kerry in there to change this negative Bush approach to a positive one.
