Geni: I just won election as the alternate for the 8th Congressional District of Washington State! (and my district chair, who was helping tally votes, told me I missed election as one of the two female delegates by two votes). I will be one of the Washington State Delegation in Boston.

regular basis. I wanna hear ALL of it! I want to know about everything from the speech-makers to the celebs and other VIPs in the crowd to the gew-gaws at the souvenir stands to what kind of food they were serving. Will there be lots of Heinz ketchup? What gimmicks will there be? Lots of colorful stuff! Gossip! Donkey ears!

Just realized I may go as Donkey from "Shrek" for Halloween. At Universal Studios last year, the kids and I bought ourselves some Donkey ears and a tail. Sounds like this Halloween is the time to wear them.
