Kerry was at the WWII dedication today......where was he?
Bill Schneider just mentioned it on CNN

I watched some of Dole's speech, some of Tom Hanks, suffered through much of the chimp's, yawned through the FedEx guy, saw #41 looking like Scarface in his shades, listened to Douglas Brinkley's explanatioin of the genesis of the memorial, while surfing through CNN, MSNBC, Fauz, CSPAN, but not once did I hear a thing about Kerry being there.

Did I miss it every time it was mentioned, or did everybody completely ignore Kerry's presence there?

Do I infer too much here?

1. Kerry wouldn't be "on the program"
Like Shrub and ex-Presidents, or Dole (WW II vet). He would be "just another senator" in this case.

Glad to hear he was there though.

3. was there.....showed him on world news tonight after the regular news
He was there as a senator in the audience. They showed him. they only did a really short on the WWii bit. They had about 5 bits shoved into that 15 minutes of program and 15 minutes of ads. I was hoping it would be on the whole thing. Would have loved to hear Tom Hanks. Bush they could skip....

Jeez, the guy we have in the WH now makes you wish for Bob Dole.

At least he has some honor and dignity.

8. That is so Funny.. I was thinking the same thing...who would have
every thought I would want Bob Dole....

His sense of humor and ads and work with Clinton and others since has been uplifting.....and surprizing......take the man out of a negative environment and find a person.....
