It would make it look like he is failing in the war on terror(ism). Most likely they will stage a big show and round up a bunch of people and accuse them of some massive plot in order to make it look like Bush is effective at combatting terror(ism). "See, the PATRIOT act works! See, Ashcroft is a hero! See, Bush is not retarded!" Maybe during the olympic games or right before the election.

14. Another "attack" will help the Bush Regime in a couple of ways

Another attack will give the evil Bush Regime the opportunity to:

-blame the Muslim terrorists for the economic devastation the Bush Regime's policies have guaranteed for the United States. Bush don't take no blame for nothing!

-retain power for another four years- either through fear and manipulation of the public, or if that doesn't work...martial law (both possibilities have been test marketed)

...plus, causing death and destruction seems to be Junior's Viagra. Apparently it keeps Dick's heart pumping, too (Cheney, that is).
