As far as I'm concerned, Kerry has lost the election with this STUPID move.

6. This was the only smart move. Bushies would have clobbered him on delay.

12. Sure. All our decisions should be made based on fear. Gore proved it
is a great idea to appease the RNC media. Ya think they'll love him a bit now?
sheesh!
Give them hell and never retreat! Damn! he blinked.

7. He got on the news for DAYS, and reminded the Rethugs he's raising
cash like no Dem ever has.

I think he's doing the right thing. And I'm sure he's figured out how to counter the funding discrepancy.

16. Free media is much more important
than paid media. People are also going to develop an immunity to the Bush!t by the time August rolls around. People will also be outdoors and getting away from their TV's.

10. The sooner we know the veep, the better
A vacuum tends to be filled with negative innuendo and rumors. Best to squelch it ASAP. Now Kerry can also hammer bush on how much he has to spend to barely keep even in the polls.

Good move, Kerry.

11. THAT'S GREAT
I thought it was funny that Kerry baited those simpering Republicans to whine about how "unfair" it was for Kerry to raise more money.

He needs to accept the nomination at the conventions. That is the highlight of the convention.

17. Who watches TV in August? Good move, Kerry. Downside greater than the
benefits. Besides, if refocuses attention on the Bush decision to deliberately delay the Pub convention so that it could coincide with Sept 11 in NYC and also save on general election money. Now we can talk about how Bush gets his name on the ballot in those states where the nominee is supposed to be determined by Sept 1. Kerry chooses to play by the spirit of the rules, Bush doesn't. That is the take-home message.

18. he lost the election. he blink, silliness
it was clever what he came up with and put out, and in fairness it was a right on move. yet, there were some points brought up with it that i hadnt thought of and sure many others hadnt, firstly, how the media presented, but how it dishonored what those in boston are going to go thru, adn making it irrelevent their pains further, and a bigger, making the democratic convention not important to attend and loss of money to city of boston, that too isnt fair.

i think kerry did the right thing, and dont think it will be a loss of election, or showing he blinked, but put thought in it and decided you know, will take the good of putting out the unfairness once again by the repugs, but i am going to do right by my people

so i am glad he did this

though was fun him standing tall saying, you know if i dont accept........

23. Nope, he can't
Ads aired in August fall under the new rules regardless of when they were ordered.
