Apparently we have too few
voters at the polls. Lets make a few basic voting days and make them like its a major holiday, maybe we could get more people to the polls. The more votes cast the closer to our core values as a country would be. Anyway just a thought, we sure need to do something to encourage more people to vote

1. An income tax surcharge for not voting.
If you vote you don't have to pay the surcharge.

The problem with any incentive, however, is that people who really don't care about the issues and who know nothing about the candidates will just vote at random simply to get their incentive.

People who can't be bothered to vote deserve to be enslaved.
