Has a single commentator said Bush "HIT A HOME RUN" in his speech?

I haven't heard that phrase used. Has anyone else?

That's a real "dog that didn't bark." Even the worst of the paid stooges seem to know that folks might bust out laughing if they say it.

Perhaps Bush has traded his inner Sammy Sosa.

6. Krauthammer Is A Buffoon
He's the new Buckley. Use big words and seem highly removed and erudite and people will think you're smart.

Hey, Charlie. Not working! You're an idiot!

2. The two minutes I watched looked like Elle in Legally Blond II
I kept seeing Elle making her pitch for Bruiser's Bill, her face all full of concern for the poor little dogs who needed her help.

Bush was so concerned, he seemed almost ready to accept that there were people over in Iraq, rather than obstacles to his oil.

8. it's the low expectations thing again
You can't lose this way: predict increased violence, then if it happens you were right and if doesn't happen, then the strength and resolve shown by out God-anointed President is responsible.

7. Tweety Is Ignoring (Denying) It Completely
This from the Tweezer who has drooled for weeks at a time over Shrub throwing a baseball, Shrub in a flight suit, Shrub in jeans. Doncha think that if Shrub's speech had been even halfass "good", Tweety would be slathering about how "Churchillian" it was.

9. Glenn Beck said they could put the speech to music, I swear to God.
I just started laughing and shaking my head - I was in traffic and the lady in the car next to me must have been listening to the same thing - she looked over at me with an annoyed look.

Heh heh.
