They used to say that the road to solving the I/P issue led through Baghdad. What the hell were they thinking? It makes no sense.

If this administration managed to solve the I/P situation.... I would swallow my tongue. I'll do it! PM me when it happens! :) on edit: It wouldn't surprise me if the whole Roadmap idea was just a token effort aimed at garnering votes.

The theory was that with Saddam Hussein gone, the balance would shift in Israel's favor, and then the Palestians would have to make a deal. I never believed this, but that was the neo-con theory.
