4. Palestine was Established by the UN in 1948

by the same action that established Israel. You have to wriggle pretty hard to get out of that one.

Kurdistan, on the other hand, has never been a state as far as I know. It's been part of Iraq, the British mandate, or the Ottoman Empire for centuries.

It's always hard to deny an ethnic group its own state. But existing states have a political right to their territory. Breakaways have to be resolved internally.
