I heard on CNN and ABC that the White House thinks he does better in front of a live audience. If this was better, think how bad it could be.

3. Sure he does better

He puts on his little sincere down home look, gets reaction from a friendly hand-picked audience who would give a standing O if he vomited, and he has 2 guys on the stage telling the stooges in the audience when to applaud and whistle. Did you notice how the applause began and ended exactly together? Of course he needs an audience, but this should be billed as a campaign appearance.

I thought they'd added an applause track. Where was he giving the speech?
