say its due to a lot of recent rain - but someone checked and there hasn't been rain in the are for more than a week.

While a face first fall, I would think, is rare off of a bike (unless one's hands are tangled - say if one flips over the handlbars, generally the hands would shield the fall - and one of his hands is pretty scuffed) - I still don't get the scrape underneath his nose - above his lip. This is one very uncoordinated guy.

So we have the "significant strawberry", the recount facial boil, the pretzel bruise, the Segway stumble, the cut cheek from a cedar branch, and now this. Not to mention the repeated head-bumping on the helicopter doorframe, and the strained knee from showing off on his "Hundred Degree Club" runs.

Can we dare hope he'll be benched for the rest of the season?
