Why the desecration of the bodies of the mercenaries in Fallujah? Heres why

The Marine's tale: 'We killed 30 civilians in six weeks. I felt we were committing genocide'

<snip>Mr Massey watched as badly injured Iraqis were repeatedly "tossed on the side of the road without calling medics". His reaction to the event that triggered the recent siege of Fallujah - the sight of the blackened, mutilated bodies of four American private security men - was that "we did the same thing to them".

Iraqis, he said, "would see us debase their dead all the time. We would be messing around with charred bodies, kicking them out of the vehicles and sticking cigarettes in their mouths. I also saw vehicles drive over them. It was our job to look into the pockets of dead Iraqis to gather intelligence. However, time and time again, I saw Marines steal gold chains, watches and wallets full of money."

2. Oh, for crying out loud.....
We should be packing up and getting the hell out of Iraq immediately. How much further do we have to sink in our own filth?

4. Also 11 months previous, 17 protesters were killed by US Marines
.
.
.

UNARMED protesters in Fallujah were fired on by US troops at a school, 17 killed and another 75 injured.

But that's OK

Da fog of war and all

And the other tens of thousands of civilians killed and mutilated by US bombs,

Dats OK

Heck, I'm surprised there is not MORE mutilation and degrading of the Military over there

In my opinion, those Iraqis are pretty restrained,

still hoping to see some decency from their occupiers

Dream on Iraqis - just look at how the US treats its own prisoners . .

HECK

Look at how the US treats its VETERANS

'nuff said

(sigh)

6. It's worth noting that this serviceman spoke...
... after leaving the service. Right now, with so many in Iraq or still in the military, there may be many willing to talk, but will not do so if they're on active duty. As more are allowed to leave the service, there will be lots more stories, and certainly more just as disturbing.

We may never know how much of this will actually stick to the leaders who manufactured this invasion, but we can hope that it will.
