The Good news thread of the day - personal, common interest

I am continuing a tradition started here a fer days ago - author - take a bow and re-introduce yourself.
Such a thread is absolutely necessary for keeping perspective. So, I'll start:

Today I'll get to see Wes Clark at a WesPac event talking about Iraq. I will also get to meet in person many of the Clarkies all over the country I only knew on line.
In my tiny plot in our community garden I'll plant strawbrries, tomatoes and flowers.
Also, on Morning Sedition I heard James Gailbraith confirming a feeling I had for the past 2 years. here's his Salon article:

that eventually the American people will always get it right. The latest polls as case in point.
