Post in Vogue forum - what you think of Bush twins in their Aug. issue!
From CLG:

Mega barf alert! Vogue magazine is reaching for the bottom of the barrel in the looks/brains department!! Bush daughters pose for interview and photo spread for Vogue --Barbara and Jenna Bush have already sat for an interview and photo shoot for Vogue—the first of many interviews they'll do this summer. Then, after a European vacation with friends, the twins will return to Washington to work for their moron and W-ar criminal 'father.'

Quick action! DO NOT BUY Vogue magazine, and cancel your subscription. Tell the editors of the Condé Nast publication why you will no longer support their magazine. Post in their forum to express your views on the subject.

My message: "I am sending a message alert to thousands of Democrats to stop buying Vogue magazine or to cancel their subscriptions, due to your featuring Bush's daughters in an upcoming issue. We look forward to fashion news and cultural trends from Vogue - not Reichwing media promoting the insane policies of Dictator Bush. Cheers, Lori R. Price, General Manager, Citizens for Legitimate Government

1. Eh!
I don't really care one way or the other. I was never a Vogue magazine reader.

In any event, I wish the girls well on their European vacation. They are very lucky to have that privilege. Many other college graduates this year are unemployed or underemployed and don't have that luxury.

3. I really think that we should stop bashing the Bush twins.
It's really not their fault that they have idiots for parents.

5. That's right - as soon as the twins hit the campaign trail
they are fair game.

7. I don't look to Vogue for political ideas.
I check it out occasionally to see what the fashionistas are up to. Generally, perusing the fashions of the day reinforces my own belief that you can get away with wearing just about anything. It's mostly for amusement.

However, their non-fashion articles tend to be liberal. They've featured more Democratic politicians (& relatives of politicians) than Republicans. At least once a year, they remind us all that Jackie Kennedy is the Once & Future Queen of American political style.

The article may or may not make the girls look good. I'll certainly critique it in the Forum but don't think the story should be forbidden.

Do the Citizens for Legitimate Government really have so little to do?

10. Barbara is rather attractive...

Jenna cleans up nicely. They'll both do fine on the cover of Vogue since that is what Vogue is about.
