Even though the Geneva Convention protects all prisoners, the Justice Dept. has decided that certain prisoners are excluded, and this interpretation leads to torture.
Please send a letter like the following to your Senators and Congressperson.

Aricle 5 of the Geneva Convention requires every prisoner to be treated "with humanity."
Unfortunately, some have misinterpreted the Geneva Convention to pretend that certain prisoners have no protection.
Please propose a bill which says, "Every prisoner must be free from any humiliating or hurtful treatment, including but not limited to denial of clothing, sleep, and adequate food, and freedom from beatings and electrical shocks and drownings and suffocations."
Please pass long sentences for anyone who violates the human rights described above or orders violations of these human rights.
