VIVA Bush!!!
I almost got in an accident after reading this bumper sticker. Saw this in North Georgia.

I almost threw up. Bush trying to appeal to Latino voters....

2. Hope that the car you saw it on was an old Nova

;-)

on edit: oki, I'm gonna add the 'rest of the story' (for those who don't know it already)...back in (the early 80's???) Chevrolet introduced an inexpensive little 'run-around car' which was named 'Nova'. The Chevy Nova was a huge success here in the US, so they decided to 'expand their market into Mexico and some other Spanish speaking countries. Chevy continued to market this 'snappy lil car' as the Nova. The car didn't sell AT ALL....it was a huge failure in Spanish speaking countries. The reason (they FINALLY discovered)? Was an ENORMOUS marketing/culture mistake! Because in Spanish 'Nova' means 'no go'....No=no and va=to go. Oops.

5. We were at the Memorial Day parade today
And they had people giving out Bush/Cheney stickers. Well, my Hispanic neighbor's son, who is 10, said I cannot believe they want him to be our president again. He took one of the stickers, tore into a million pieces and then stuck it on his shirt-- it was a hoot.

There were some people who were serious about taking the stickers, but my neighbors who live right next door and I had stereotyped as Bush* supporters turned down the stickers like they were contaminated with poison-- that was very comforting to me. It seems I have Bush haters living on both sides of me.

"Viva Democracy-- Vote Kerry!"
