Hey Dad, let's go to the Moonshine Bar & Grill
Edited on Sun May-23-04 04:59 AM by DoYouEverWonder
Now in most American families, graduating from college is a big deal. All over the country family and friends gather to celebrate the big day and going out to dinner at a fancy restaurant usually tops off the festivities. So if you're a Bu$h girl, where do you get your family to take you? To the Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill, of course. Especially after a hard day of falling and tumbling all over the pig farm, I'm sure everyone needed a few more stiff drinks.

Despite bike spill, Bush celebrates with daughter

May 22, 2004

AUSTIN -- President Bush, slightly injured after a mountain bike mishap at his Crawford ranch, had dinner Saturday night in Austin to celebrate daughter Jenna's graduation from the University of Texas.

<snip>

Bush, accompanied by his wife, Laura Bush, joined daughter Jenna, 22, for dinner at the Austin restaurant Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill. Jenna graduated Saturday from the University of Texas with a degree in English. She did not take part in the ceremony, according to The Associated Press.

Disclaimer: I have never been to the Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill and I am sure it is a very fine restaurant, I just thought the name of the place was especially ironic considering this family history of alcohol abuse.
