Sarin Gas
Whatever happened to the sarin gas story? It seems to have just dropped out of the news completely. It makes me suspicious because it seems if it were really a threat, the Bush Administration would really be playing it up.

2. If it doesn't kill or cause irriversable nerve damage...
...it ain't sarin! The Black-ops guys are still waiting till our backs are turned or our attention is focused on somnething totally different and then they'll spring the WMD's surprise on the Amerikans.

Sarin is nasty stuff, one drop on your skin or a mist inhaled will leave you totally dead without the antidote. U.S. has more sarin than any other country, including the terrorists. U.S. has it all.

4. Your thinking of VX
Sarin is not that letheal, and it has an antidote. Sarin was the gas used in the Tokyo subway attack. VX on the other hand can kill with a drop no bigger than the head of a pin.

3. IMO, they were getting near the conclusion that the shell was...
"Crafted with Pride in the U.S.A."

6. I believe that these stories make headline in small town newspapers
and then disappear with no follow-up leaving the red-state dittoheads believing the headline is the truth.

7. never was a threat for minute one
they knew the soldiers were ok, they knew it was old, they knew the sarin couldnt mix and be effective unless shot out of something. they know they are around, unmarked amongst all the weaponary.

it was a bogus story from the beginning military knew it and allowed the press to blow it out

8. Ritter: Iraq sarin shell is not part of a secret cache
http://www.christiansciencemonitor.com/2004/0521/p09s01-coop.html

A commentary piece published yesterday. Basically he thinks it could be one from a research programme the Iraqis had before 1991.

9. Ritter seems to assume...
that the shell -did- contain Sarin.

Last reports I saw, they were still testing.

Ritter, I assume has information not in the press. But he doesn't quote other information.
