4. Gas is up worldwide, but
not as much in percentage terms as it is here because oil is priced in dollars and the dollar has been weak during the oil rise.

5. Just got back from Japan...
The price is up from about 90 yen/liter to about 104.

So, it's a bit less up than the US.

7. Brazil is holding prices

but in the verge of no longer being able to do so. Petrobras cut its profit margins at the refineries a lot in order to prevent rises.
