13. Why should we want Rumsfeld to resign?
If Bush dumps him, then he can claim that he "took responsibility" for the problem, and the media whores will go all ecstatic over his "manly resolve."

Much better for Rummy to stick around as a liability for Bush. Let the two of them go down together.
