Do you ever think there will be a liberal version of Faux news?
I sure hope so. Doesn't Air America have plans for television?

1. Why would Air America be a liberal version of Faux?
Why would you want anything to be? Isn't it better to report fairly than try to spin everything to a particular ideology?

2. Not really possible
It has to do with our mentality. The very core to the liberal ideal is inclusiveness. The idea of excluding others runs contrary to our thinking. Thus we can have a liberal station that pokes fun at the conservatives. But when it comes to a noncomedic station you will find that liberal reporting will run closer to what real reporting is supposed to be like.

Now that being said it would be nice to see a real news program again.

3. Nope,

I, for one, don't need a "news" organization telling me what to think. Just report what happened, and let me make my own mind up.

4. It won't work....
We don't rely on biased propoganda. Only individuals who lack the ability to think independently need a bunch of blow holes to spew hate and lies 24 x 7.

We don't need someone, anyone to tell us what or how to think. This is exactly what Faux does.

8. don't want a "liberal" news
I just want THE news. Report EVERYTHING with the words "claims the US government/Pentagon/British Labor Party/Jihadists/tinfoil hat brigade" just attribute EVERYTHING whether it's from "our" side or "theirs" and then we know what the bias' involved are. I can make up my own mind.

What really irked me in teh lead up to the Iraq war was that everything from the Iraqi camp was (reasonably) reported as if it should be taken with a grain of salt but that everything the Pentagon said was FACT - as if they didn't have a bias at all.

That said the only people who can afford to run a TV network are the kind of people who DO NOT want the truth out there. It's not just a political bias (the corporate scum will swap sides whenever it suits them) but a CORPORATE bias.

9. I can't even imagine
a liberal Fox news, in your face all the time, spinning everything, no thanks. I'll stick BBC, PBS and cspan and my local often labeled liberal local newspaper.
