Is there anyone more vile that Michael Savage?

I just read a piece in Salon by Dave Gilson (sorry, no link) about an appearnce by Michael Savage at San Francisco's Concord Pavilion. Here's a sample

Just a few days before the Uncensored event, he'd been ranting on the radio about dropping fiery death on civilians throughout Iraq and the Middle East. The article goes on to say that there was about a crowd of 5,000 people, 90% male and 95% white. Some paid up to $100 a ticket. The first half of the show was pure "right-wing red meat" gay-bashing, liberal-bashing, etc. The second half was a "bomb", with many people leaving (even THEY couldn't take it, I guess), with the nadir being Savage playing the audio of Nick Berg's beheading.

Has the political discourse reached the depths yet when people PAY to listen and watch this?

in the car, he was so very extreem it made it somewhat humorous to listen to. So glad his son didn't get elected even if people used smear techniques to do it. Personally, I think the people running blogsforbush are worse. They're not scary, they're just absurdly misguided and plain old scary. But they're worse because they're somewhat palatable to the gullible and unsure.

7. Yesterday I happened to be listening to Limbaugh in the car, and a

woman called up and started yelling that we should withdraw from Fallujeh and then wipe it out with a bomb. Just wipe it out completely she said, because those people are not human beings. They are sub-human and closer to animals. I thought Limbaugh would be embarrassed and try to back her off, but he agreed with her by saying that's what a whole lot of americans want to do.

Do they know anything about history?

I have heard him advocate torturing prisoners before. Even before this torture scandal broke out.
