The case for Bush*
Some time between now and Nov.2 Bush is going to have to try to convince the American people that he deserves another 4 yrs. What excuse for his dismal performance up until this point will he use. How will he convince 60% of the nonbelievers? What could he possibly say to change our minds? His credibility is in the toilet. Even $70M in negative adds haven't helped him. With 2 more investigations to come out soon, 9/11 commission, and Plame. Is there any thing he can do or say to make us forget his record of never failing to fail.

4. Even the fear is failing
to produce the desired result. Americans refuse to submit to fear. They would rather strike out against it. And the source of the fear is the warmongering admin.

14. Catching their boy is no big accomplishment,
they could have gotten him any time, after all, he is THEIR boogeyman. When are they going to capture their other boogeyman Osama? Saving him for another misadministration and a few more years of fear-mongering?

Yeah, I remember that big naval battle in the Afgan war....err... wait, they don't have a navy. But what about that air war, that was impr...errr....sorry, they didn't have an air force. But you gotta admit that tank battle was...oops... that's right, they didn't have any tanks did they? But hey, they sure as hell had some tough-assed Toyota extended cab pick ups didn't they?

There a ten times more terrorists now than we have killed or captured since this phoney war on terror was started.

16. Allow me to be devil's advocate for a moment and ask
how Saddam was a threat, and for you to prove the Taliban was eradicated from Afghanistan.

Or, in other words, are you saying that those two things you listed are valid reasons that Bush deserves to be elected in November?

19. The question, I believe, was
what is the Bush campaign going to use as reasons he should be re-elected.

7. Do you think they are that evil?
Would they cause another attack? They obviously haven't done whats necessary to protect us from an attack. How could an attack strengthen their case? I don't think the American people will stand for any more shenanigans.

6. interesting question
Bush has no record to run on.

All he can do is go negative. Look for him to do all in his power to blacken Kerry's name.

13. He sat on his ass and read a story to schoolchildren
while his "fellow Americans" were being burned to death and jumping out of towers due to his (if nothing else) total incompetence leading up to that day.

That should convince them, just wave a flag over that coffin.

17. For The Fundi's.......
he can claim that he is Jesus! For the conservatives he can give 100-shares of Kellogg Brown & Root to all that vote for him. For the neo-cons he can promise to kill everything on earth that will not follow the program! For the Reich wingers and moderates he can promise to keep their bellies full of premium Bu$h*t. And for the Liberals he can promise us to take a walk into the Iraqi desert and decapitate himself!

22. A nice facade will be put on the June changeover and...
...will be kept up until after the election. Bush will work out a deal with the new government where they demand us to leave, to make them look good to their own people, and we will be nice and comply. The economy will probably be looking better by the election and Bush will say it is because of tax cuts.
