Look at the pattern of news stories ... There is clearly a major league COVER-UP going on at the White House and the Pentagon!
This morning on my web site ( www.earthside.com ), I post the following links to news reports:

ABC News
http://abcnews.go.com/sections/WNT/Investigation/abu_ghraib_cover_up_040518-1.htmlIt reminds me so much of how Watergate started. Liddy and his pals were going to keep their mouths shut until Judge John J. Sirica put the screws to the rest of the burglers. This is by far more serious.
Americans should be outraged by what the Bush regime is doing to put a tight lid on how high up approval for the torture of Iraqis and Afghans went.
And why hasn't the big story by the Denver Post received more attention from the corporate media? (I guess I just answered my own question) ... there is now evidence of actual deaths from torture!
I tell ya ... we are in big trouble as a country if we let this kind of deadly scandal go whimpering away.
And so far, listening to the Senate hearings with the generals this morning, I'm not seeing anyone, Republican or Democrat, really go after these guys.
