How to blow a "W"ingnut's mind!
I have had great success turning right-winger's thinking against them.
They have sort of a Zen like puzzled pause 99% of the time.
I tell them "Yeah, let's liberate the ragheads!" with bravado.
Their brain fights itself. You can see it in their eyes.

Or I have a redneck type fit and stomp the ground asking, "Why should our troops get mangled and die so a bunch of goat herders can vote!?" That works too.

cheers ;)

1. They are torn between killing them with kindness or just killing them.

2. When they call John Kerry a war criminal, I then tell them that ALL viet
nam vets are war criminals also, by that thinking.

Freeper Freak: "urk John Kerry is a war criminal..."

Radwriter0555: "so you're calling all Viet Nam vets war criminals?" I thought you said YOU served in Viet Nam, so that makes you a war criminal too, right?"

Freeper Freak: "uh, er, you're a COMMIE!"

Radwriter055 "No... I'm a Liberal Socialist Democrat....."

Freeper Freak: (swallows tongue)

They CRAP their pants.

4. John Kerry admitted to specific war crimes
All of the vets who did THOSE things are war criminals, it is not an indictment of all vets.

I think if you used your tactic on someone who actually cared about the issue, it would be much less effective.

5. Which specific war crimes did Kerry admit to?
Only info I've seen has had to do with his Senate testimony re: VVAW/Winter Soldier, in which he most clearly did NOT make that claim.

6. So every grunt that participated in a "free fire" zone is a war criminal?
Every man that fired a .50 cal MG? Every man that called for or helped lay down H&I fire? Fuck, I'm a war criminal too! Me and every other grunt that spent any time in the bush. Kerry said that he felt that those commonly used US tactics could be considered atrocities. Years later, upon reflection, he said that "atrocity" may have been too strong a word. Yet the Limbaughs and Hannitys (and apparently you) of the world continue to spout their bullshit "Kerry admits he was a war criminal" garbage.

9. You need to be a bit more specific
Senator John Kerry said H&I was a war crime and Free Fire Zones were also. We all participated in those activities unless you were a strap. What specifically did Kerry admit to?

10. I was more apalled at the
Search and destory missions and the burning of villages.

H&I and Free Fire zones are understandable parts of warfare, at least from the soldiers perspective.

12. Kerry was on a river boat
Not search and destroy mission burning villages. I think you may have Bob Kerrey mixed up with John Kerry. And H&I and Free Fire Zones were and are considered war crimes by the Geneva Convention. We all participated in them though.
