I'm listening to cspan. Most republicans calling in are whining because the media is giving more airtime to the torture scandal than the Berg beheading. Whine whine whine. They claim the torture scandal is no big deal. As every day passes by, I am starting to hate bush republicans more and more.

but the torture has gotten much more press than the beheading. Its just a matter of perspective if you think that is valid. Pointless whining really though.

2. It has gotten more press because

1) the scandal started before the beheading and 2) the beheading is one horrible incident, it happened and it's over.

I guess the bush republicans would rather, they just stop talking about the torture scandal and talk day in and day out about the beheading, that way it takes the heat off of bush and company. I don't know who they are trying to fool. They know damn well if Gore or Clinton was in office and these two incidents happened, you know they would say the opposite.

3. if the Berg beheading deserves equal time as the torture scandal

then they should give equal time to EACH OF THE 700+ DEAD US SOLDIERS IN IRAQ

beheaded Berg. I'll bet a full on investigation would lead right back to the white house.
