Sarin gas story, : Can you say "damage control"
This is a non-story that I'm sure CNN & Faux will play out to it's fullest extent. Crock o' shit. Total damage control.

2. It won't work
It hasn't worked to date.

The only thing that can help them is to produce Osama bin Forgotten and if they pull him out of deep freeze too soon, they'll screw the pooch.

3. Rumsfeld's paranoia is finally surfacing.
He's probably put a hit out on Seymour Hersh.

6. Question - since this was DEADLY DEADLY DEADLY sarin gas . . .
Isn't it odd that nobody at the blast site has died from its effects?

Another poster mentioned that the stuff has a limited shelf life, and might be a remnant shell from the Iran-Iraq War.

7. They had to cry 'Sarin' cuz WMD too easily disproved
What is the shelf live of Sarin? I thought those sorts of things had a very short time they were actually dangerous. Saddam cooking it up in his jail cell and smuggling it out?

8. I'm still holding out for that 50,000 gallons
In fact, I'm feeling generous: if they can find 1/10 of what Powell claimed that he *knew* they had, I might reconsider my opinion of them. But they are still 4999.9 gallons short.

9. It's odd that CNN has it as top story and MSNBC has it following the suici
de bombing killing the president of the Iraqi Governing Council.

10. not odd at all. CNN knows wmds sell ads. that's what news is all about.
There is no more of the fairness doctrine in the press. These are marketing people selling ad time. period.
