Shouldn't there be more concern RE: the assasination of the Iraqi leader
C'mon this guy should have secret service type protection he was the president of the governing council. This assasination just shows how terrible things are. . .its absolutely unacceptable.

1. Thought about that
Apparently there were 9 killed. Were any of them security guards, military or otherwise?

2. And the headline is the "tiny amount of sarin nerve agent" found.
Hey, another Iraqi bites the dust. Liberation goes on.

3. I mean this is absolutely huge. . .
. . .if the Iraqi governing council has any kind of standing that man should have had the best protection and there is absolutely no way anyone should have gotten that close. . .that is of course unless the Iraqi governing council is a joke. . .that could not be right?

4. Chalabi is another "survivor"
He managed to sleaze through this checkpoint a matter of seconds before this guy did.

Does Chalabi intend to be the last man standing?

Is Cheney finally just going to foist him on people, the way they foisted Negroponte?

6. I am outraged at the outrage over the lack of outrage
I'm sick of the whole "I am outraged at the lack of outrage" thing.

Colin Powell was outraged that there wasn't enough outrage over the Berg beheading.

The truth is like smoke if you're looking for it in the media.

It's like people keep throwing bodies at the windshield as we try to drive through the city.

7. Bodyguards not much use against
suicide truck bombs.

I don't know how important this guy was. The group uses a month to month rotating presidency, so he could have been super important, or just important.

Regardless, it is quite a victory for the insurgents and quite a defeat for us.
