Is Tony Blair the UK's Zell Miller:
Edited on Sun May-16-04 10:16 PM by mdguss
I'm fed up with Tony Blair. He comes over here, says nice things about Bush, doesn't say who he'd prefer to win the election, and generally doesn't stand for anything progressive anymore. My question: is this guy the UK's Zell Miller. Is he the leader of the Labour for Bush movement? I used to like him, but I think if I were a UK citizen I'd either vote for the Lib Dems or the Torries.

He's holding his nose.
And payback for our help in WW2.
He has to sleep every night in Churchill's house.

7. No it isn't
The UK didn't support the US during the Vietnam war (well, not for long anyway). Blair's allegiance with Bush is his choice alone.

As for payback for "our help in WW2", that would be a terrible excuse. The Soviet Union played as large a part as the US, if not larger, in the war in Europe, but at no point did the UK support the activities of the Soviet Union. The UK, both politicians and citizens, support the US as appropriate, because they want to, not out of duty.

8. I'd still like to see HOW he said that.
In addition to whether he actually said it.

I see a lot of BS when it comes to Blair, especially lately since the RW know that when Kerry wins, the jigs up.
