Nine months of spring-like weather, several hundred miles of coastline, a widely diverse population, a wonderfully diverse ecology system, more theme parks than any other state, top rated sports teams, year round golf, NASA, the Keys, the Ringling Museum, and a cost of living about 1/3 of what it costs to live in California.

How many other states do you know of where for less than $100,000 you can get nice little house within walking distance of the ocean.

I understand that many people here believe that life begins and ends with politics, but for a lot of of us, there is far more to this world than your political affiliations.

12. The problem is, when these sleazos arrive in your paradise,

they raise the prices of the property, they decide they don't like the locals except for low paying jobs. They have no respect for the ecology because it gets in the way of their development project. Walking distance of the ocean will be replaced by a lot of parking lots, daily fees and no public access. Your choice.
