4. I think I heard that snafu on MTP was from Powell's press secretary
not wanting Powell to answer Russert's question, but Powell insisted on responding, and the camera panned back to Powell.

6. Russert should do a follow-up interview with the Palm Tree.
The Palm Tree was not given a sufficient opportunity to explain it's positions.
Is the palm tree in the running for Kerry's VP candidate? Maybe a cabinet spot.

8. Was this THEATRE?
I didn't see the actual presentation (I don't watch TV), but I did download and watch the WMV version. I couldn't help but wonder, given Secretary Powell's history of theatrics, especially when he is telling a lie, whether or not the whole event was 'staged' to get people to pay attention to what he was about to say. You have to admit, we DID start to pay attention, no? He really wanted to make sure we HEARD him SAY that HE had been DECEIVED, right?
