Powell said Sunday that there were discussions at high levels inside the Bush administration last fall about information from the International Committee of the Red Cross alleging prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib prison, the focal point of the scandal.

Powell added, "All of the reports we received from ICRC having to do with the situation in Guantanamo, the situation in Afghanistan (news - web sites) or the situation in Iraq was the subject of discussion within the administration, at our principals' committee meetings" and at National Security Council meetings.

2. And look at Gonzales!! Supreme Court Justice? NOOOO
So this guy, Gonzales is helping to throw back all of the freedoms and protections clear back to the age of reason and Magna Carta. He wants to remove Geneva Convention restrictions.

He is the one who reviewed most of the death penalty cases Bush blithely signed off.

The guy is one more piece of the White House clearly needing to be booted out of here.
