SSS "DESIGNING PROCEDURES" to REGISTER ALL under 35 for DRAFT - must read!
Edited on Sun May-16-04 04:31 PM by Dems Will Win
This was revealed only with the Freedom of Information Act, folks!

The SSS is now "DESIGNING PROCEDURES" to REGISTER all under 35, m/f, for the SKILLS DRAFT! YOU will have to register whatever your skill because the DoD could have shortages of hundreds of occupations!

THIS SECRET 6-PAGE PROPOSAL WAS GIVEN TO THE PENTAGON AND THE SSS HAS THIS AS THEIR "TOP PRIORITY"! The only reason you are reading this thread is because the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT was used to get the proposal from DoD!

The SSS is RIGHT NOW figuring out how the system would work. This early version of the original article reveals more!

That you will have to register at the local PO we knew but now we know they will make you UPDATE YOUR SKILL SET EVERY SINGLE YEAR!!

And now we know that whatever skill you are most proficient at is the one you should fill out in the required box on the REGISTRATION FORM you will soon be signing your name to if you are under 35 and Bush is reselected. He will most certainly reinstate the DRAFT to take Syria and other parts unknown.

They will have an "inventory" of all occupations and those most proficient at those jobs in a giant database--that will be part of the current Registration Compliance database.

Refuse to register and you'll get a letter from John Ashcroft, like those who don't register today get. Canada by the way does not just let you go over the border anymore and then apply for citizenship. Easy crossing of the border ended after 9-11.

There are NO medical deferements for the Skills DRAFT, only "essential service to your community".

Do you know anyone under 35 who has an occupation, especially computer programmer (Star Wars), nurse, linguist, doctor, medical specialist or engineer? Plus the NEW DRAFT WILL INCLUDE WOMEN.

The Skills DRAFT would work like the current dormant Medical DRAFT. DoD asks for an occupation and if your birthday is chosen, no matter what your age, you could soon receive your order to report.

By the spring of next year these people under 35 will be at risk--unless you spread this everywhere and people elect JOHN KERRY.

KERRY has a NO-DRAFT PLAN that raises 40,000 additional active troops, brings NATO into Iraq, starts a several thousand-strong volunteer Civilian Stability Corps, raises pay and benes dramatically to keep enlistment rates up and increase recruitment. His PLAN avoids the DRAFT, Iraq or not.

Any questions? ask me anything!

Selective Service eyes women's draft
The proposal would also require registration of critical skills

By ERIC ROSENBERG
SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER WASHINGTON BUREAU

WASHINGTON --

-snip-

Flahavan said the agency has begun designing procedures for a targeted registration and draft of people with computer and language skills, in case military officials and Congress authorize it.

-snip-

At present, the Selective Service is authorized to register only young men and they are not required to inform the government about any professional skills. Separately, the agency has in place a special registration system to draft health care personnel in more than 60 specialties into the military if necessary in a crisis.

Some of the skill areas where the armed forces are facing "critical shortages" include linguists and computer specialists, the agency said. Americans would then be required to regularly update the agency on their skills until they reach age 35.

Individuals proficient in more than one critical skill would list the skill in which they have the greatest degree of competency.

BUSH 'O4 = DRAFT '05

KERRY '04 = PNAC OUT THE DOOR!

4. If not Canada, then where?
My kids are 28 and 26, and I don't feel inclined to sacrifice them to the Moloch worshipped by the Masters of War. They're adults, they can decide what they want to do -- but I'd like to have solid information on hand to help them with that decision.

It's official, Hekate is losing her lunch.

5. We must work for the betterment of the Fatherland!
NOT!

This is where fascism and communism meet on the political circle. Corporations own the nation, that owns the people, who work to make the corporations more money, so the nation can become more powerful.

Gone is freedom of speech, liberty, choice. We will be forced into jobs that require a certian skill set that will be used to make the Homeland a "happier, safer, more powerful" nation.

Why don't we just change our name to America Inc. right now and get it over with?

13. Supposedly in July 2005 a draft 'readiness' exercise
is planned by the SSS.

I bookmarked a thread started by you in April on this.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=1427051

Thank you Dems Will Win for posting both these threads. I have a teenage son, and I'm scared to death about his future.

Here is your your opening post on that thread, dated 4/17/2004:

According to this official SSS doc, the entire system is going to go through the biggest "Readiness Exercise" this summer since the DRAFT ended in the 70s!

http://www.sss.gov/perfplan_fy2004.html

In every DRAFT BOARD REGION, the following will occur this summer and fall:

1. A single, national test DRAFT LOTTERY will be held and numbers on balls actually taken out of the jar and assigned to the 365 birthdays of the year.

2. Phony Draft notices will be sent out to volunteers from all regions.

3. Those Volunteers from all regions will then report to their center and strip down to their underwear for the fabled medical exam.

4. Those passing the exam and receiving no deferments will be sent induction notices from all regions.

5. CO volunteers will plead their cases to the local and regional appeals boards and if they are granted status, assigned to work for non-military employers pre-identified in all regions (unless they are military COs).

6. Male and female doctors and nurses will also be called for induction to test the MEDICAL DRAFT (3.4 million eligible age 20-44). No Medical deferments, so no exam will be conducted. Appeals Boards will hear from Medical Draft volunteers to decide phony "essential community service" appeals.

Most ominously, the SSS is making ready the Alternative Service, which has lain dormant for decades, and is actually identifying the employers needed for those who win non-military CO status. The first induction of COs right now looks like July 6, 2005, once the GOP Congress approves on April 1, 2005.

THIS, PLUS THE FILLING OF ALL 10,000 BOARD SEATS THAT HAVE BECOME VACANT, TO BE FILLED BY DIRECTIVE BY SPRING 2005, ALL POINTS TO ONE THING:

BUSH '04 = DRAFT '05
