SUPPORT OUR TROOPS
In this illegal elective war by letting them cover our cowardly asses with their burned up, bullet riddled corpses.

Thank you Patriots one and all.

3. No, that's OK.
I'm not a fan of the "I'm just following orders" excuse.

4. I don't support killing
Edited on Sun May-16-04 03:26 PM by indigobusiness
I posted these thoughts on another thread. It seems appropriate to repost them here.
-----------
I don't support killing.

If that makes me unamerican, so be it. Killing is wrong in my eyes, and it takes an extraordinary circumstance to justify it.

I support the troops for all the obvious reasons, of course, but I am appalled when I see a soldier kill a man and celebrate like he just bagged a duck.

And watching these "kids" launch smart bombs and react to hits like they are playing a video game makes my stomach flip.

I am old enough to remember when Vietnam was over and soldiers brought their blood lust home, and all the carnage that spilled over into the homeland as a result.

And I remember my friends that died or were irretrievably changed as a result of that contrived war.

Peace is the way, but I no longer believe we are wise enough to find it.

6. I'm perfectly fine here in my little suburban sprawl......
I'm more afraid of drunk drivers and home invasion than I am of the Iraqis. I take that back, John Ashcroft, Dick Cheney and Rumsfeld scare the shit out of me. I'm more afraid of being measured for an orange jumpsuit and given a one way ticket to Camp X-Ray.
I sent no one to kill in my name nor take a bullet for me in this crime against humanity the cabal ironically calls Operation Iraqi Freedom (code name for 'I'm gonna free you whether you want it or not, hell, I'm gonna free you even if it kills you, then I'm gonna steal your oil while I'm avenging them evil doers and thugs that tried to kill my Daddy cause I'm a lovin' man').

7. WOW! guess I should have made it more clear
Easy Kids, this apparently poorly worded message was supposed to parody what REPUBLICANS mean when they say "support our troops". Forgive my twisted presentation.
