1. After watching C-Span this morning, WE NEED TO HAVE THE PHOTOS
all over the place. I don't want to see them, but the wingnuts are constantly saying this is just innocent hazing. STOP IT WINGNUTS!

2. The pictures will come out
but the Dems have politically protected themselves and if there was a poll done of the swing voter I'm sure you'd find that they would prefer the pics stay out of sight for the "protection of the troops" Those pictures will come out, so why not take the high road? The Dems would rather have a drip drip drip situation, who knows maybe they will come out during the capture of osama or during the convention?

Several on this board seem to be missing that lately.

8. It is silly to not release photos until the issue dies.

5. I think that is what will be happening as well.......
The best thing Bush could have done is let all the pictures go public now and then by election time it would be old news. This wasy the pictures will be slowly coming out bit by bit.

7. No they won't come out
They will be suppressed until it is no longer a hot issue. Suppressing it is not the high road in anyway. It is protecting the criminals in the Bush admininstration. The American people are like siblings that don't want to know their father is molesting their sister.

18. I'm leaning to suppressed until the worst are destroyed. They are in the
custody of the DOD aren't they? Wouldn't even "let" them leave for the Chimp in Chief to view at the WH.

16. & the same wingnuts are demanding the berg video be shown
to kids yet. this further proves there's something very sinister and shady about the whole berg story, and the timing of it. very suspicious.

those prisoner of war abuse photos SHOULD be released, and the whole nations should see with it's own eyes what we are doing in iraq.

6. Why are the networks censoring the beheading?
All the atrocities need to be aired.

9. They can show it. Fine
I don't think it will help your W though. Since it is a revenge killing and possibly a Bush administration fuckup. He is wearing a Berg is wearing the same orange prison outfit as the abu ghraib prisoners.

10. Fine, air it across the whole country. I have no problem with that.

Grown-ups, which is what citizens are supposed to be, can make up their own minds whether they watch it, or permit their children to watch it.

Let everyone decide for themselves just what is happening in that video.

17. there's nothing at that link
all I see is there is a DU thread started by Alerter_, and some links to FreeRepublic, Roger Simon, and NewsMax, which are all by definition worthless.

19. The sources are suspect, certainly
But if those images somehow "leak out," I will not be at all surprised.

13. The Dems fear being accused of politicizing the photos making Bush
look like the victim instead of the perp he really is...

15. I sort of agree. However, with the new allegaitons from Hersch
I think it's important that more come out, along with those allegations.

So we can all see exactly what Rummy authorized.

23. Absolutely, all the pictures should be shown...
and I'm sure, eventually, they will be.

After all, the pictures are evidence as to what exactly, WH attorney, Alberto Gonzales, Bush and Rumsfeld authorized as above the law and scope of the Geneva Convention.

There is nothing here...go along now and vote for John Kerry and stop asking questions....

SUPPORT THE TROOPS

Really, what do we expect from the party that voted for the IWR AND to give Bush his $87 billion?
