Global thermonuclear war is bad for business so don't think they'll go that far. Civil war...as in, refusing to vacate the White House...hard to say. The coup was less damaging to the DOW than one might have expected, which sets an unfortunate precedent.
Capturing Bin Laden, I'll believe when I see it -- it's bad for business to "P" off your business partners.
Computerized theft or attempted theft of the election. This is a dead certainty and we must be on guard against it.
An incident leading to war with Iran or Syria or all of the above. I wouldn't put it past 'em. Invading Cuba and/or Venezuela is another concern.
The thing I worry about most is being put in position where the only choice is another civil war or a Reich figure-headed by various Bush family members. Hell of a choice. There is a belief, by the other side, that liberals won't fight and think nothing is worth fighting for. Don't ask me where they got this belief after the late 60s/early 70s but it's definitely there. If they think they can take over and set themselves up as kings without any real battle, they'll do it.
The good thing about Kerry is that they can't question his courage and his willingness to fight for what he believes.
