2. The most recent poll shows Kerry ahead by just 1

but there's no chance Bush will win the state. I think that poll's an aberration because the ones done prior to that had Kerry ahead by a decent margin, and Bush has done absolutely nothing that would explain any increase in his support in California.

I higly doubt Bush can compete in CA, regardless of what the polls say. People here are PISSED. All you have to do in CA to get people angry is say "Enron Texas Rolling Blackout" And that was *before* the war. The liberals/dems/moderates(!) here seem hell-bent on kicking him out. I predict very high voter turnout.
