Berg's Father Blames Bush & Rumsfeld

I live in West Chester and our really conservative local paper has this front page story

Michael Berg lashed out at President George W. Bush and his administration during his first public comments since his son, Nick Berg, was murdered by al-Qaida terrorists.

"Nicholas Berg died for the sins of George Bush and Donald Rumsfeld," Michael Berg said. "The al-Qaida people are probably just as bad as they are, but this administration did this."

Readers have been responding to the story, and true to Chester County's Republican majority, most of the posts are in support of Bush.

2. I think his father was wrong to use his own sons death politically

Berg went over on his free will and refused offers to take him out of country. Imagine how people would be up in arms here if his father had used the death to promote bush or the Iraq war. I can hear the howls of protest and wingnut.

The Bergs sued Rummy on April 5, the day before their son was "released."
