14. This is what we need to do

Kerry is never going to sound like a good 'ol boy. Even if he tried, he could sound like your average guy.

So, this is what we do. We make this election about smart and stupid. Kerry is obviously highly intelligent. Bush is obviously not. He can't even speak. Other countries laugh at us for this. Bush is embarrassing.

So... Who should be our president? The dumbass or the intelligent guy?

The right has successfully demeaned intelligence by using words like "elite" etc. We need to counter that.

People who have dedicated their lives to public service and demonstrate honesty, intelligence and humor are likeable too. All Kerry has to do is be himself. Kerry is very likeable. That's why millions of people in MA have voted for him over and over.
