1. NPR had a great story on him over the weekend
I believe he is the highest ranking Phillipino ever in the US Army.

11. I hope they make a movie about this courageous man!
Taguba played by Lou Diamond Phillips

Possible for this movie to be aired prior to Nov 2004???

Producers - how about it?

No Jump Wings, No Ranger Tab.

Must be one hell of an officer - no sarcasm here - to continue to advance.

10. Airborne/Ranger/Etc important for Combat Arms - but not Combat Support
But it is interesting that he never at least went to Airborne school.

4. Unfortunately, because he is honest and won't hide the war crimes
he'll never get far in government.

Its a shame it works like that

7. Born in the Phillipines
his family moved to Hawaii when he was 10. I'd be willing to bet he may have experienced some of the redneck attitude present in some of the military types. Unfortunately, he may have already been sidelined for the trouble his report generated. I cannot remember the details but one article indicated he'd been "reassigned."

6. He is my hero.
You know he's taking flack from the other generals for getting their "boys club" in a heck of a lot of trouble. I wish I had an address for him so I could send a letter of support.
