1. Bush hasn't retracted his SOTU speech...
"The International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed in the 1990s that Saddam Hussein had an advanced nuclear weapons development program, had a design for a nuclear weapon and was working on five different methods of enriching uranium for a bomb. The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa. Our intelligence sources tell us that he has attempted to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes suitable for nuclear weapons production. Saddam Hussein has not credibly explained these activities. He clearly has much to hide. "

He only has to say that the Brits were wrong, not that HE was wrong.

2. Yeap! The buck stops anywhere else...Too bad we know
Cheney sent an ambassador to Niger to fish for this beaut. Can't blame the poodle on that one - the poodle was burned by Cheney too!
He should retract his SOTU - is replete with lies - numbers and quantities of stuff that wasn't there and the famous 9.11 link. But then again, he's the first resident who lost his election, so, he's a trailblazer!

by being the first pretzeldent to be impeached and removed from office as a result.

And he can take his snarling sidekick with him! Two turds with one stone! That would REALLY be trailblazing!

5. Smirky knew that info was bogus according to all our analysts
and yes, they were giving themselves an "out" by saying, "But, but, those James Bond guys across the pond said it was true!" It won't wash. OUR boys said it was bogus, Smirky can't simply pick and choose evidence to suit his preconceived notions (which, of course, is exactly what he did).

4. Excellent Question.
Maybe someone has the answer to your very good question, Don. I can not remember anything like this in my lifetime nor having read anything remotely like it. And even though Solomon wrote that "there is no new thing under the sun," I think that George may have "another first" as you say.

7. Oh, come on, it's just "one little statement"
according to Ari the slippery snake. Just one itty bitty little statement. What's the fuss!
